SEASON 2020
The virus Covid-19 created a worldwide Pandemic severely impacting all aspects of our life. From complete lockdowns in our homes then “Social Distancing”’, limited numbers in our shops & all social functions then to wearing masks.
Sport was greatly reduced with major events cancelled. Once Junior sport was allowed to commence there were strict Covid-19 regulations to adhere to with reduced & staggered training times with limited numbers & only one parent per player allowed at the competition games.
Through the dedication & expertise of BHSNA in managing under the Covid-19 strict regulations which often changed week by week we were able to compete in a shortened netball competition. This competition comprised of only 6 teams per grade, no Finals Series just a play off for final positions with every team competing eg: 1 v 2, 3 v 4, & 5 v 6.
Again due to the Covid-19 regulations both BHSNA & our club were unable to hold a Presentation Day & no Awards or Perpetual Trophies were awarded. All of our members received a small gift as a token of appreciation from our Executive on the final day of competition.
